Sa’Mesa brings the spirit of “La Nonna Carmela,” the Italian grandmother who welcomed everyone for heartfelt feasts, into a modern dining experience. Our “Experience Dinner” features 18 curated dishes served over several courses at a communal table. Guests come together to share authentic flavors, embrace the slow joy of Italian dining, and connect over food and stories. It’s more than a meal—it’s about creating memories. What is Sa’Mesa

Sa’Mesa is a traditional Italian style dining experience, but with a twist. Everyone is seated together; strangers, family, and friends, on one singular table. The food comes out and is placed in the middle of the table so that you are able to taste and try each of our 18+ unique dishes. This sharing concept helps to facilitate an unforgettable experience of bringing people together in a new dining format. “Come as strangers, and leave as friends!” – the Sa’Mesa way.

How much is the dinner experience?

Due to inflation, the price of the dinner experience will increase slightly to 550k++ starting from 1 July 2023. This includes all of our 18+ home made dishes plus house made limoncello that will be poured throughout the night to help aide in your digestion and liven up the atmosphere for those who might be a bit more shy.

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Not to worry! At Sa’Mesa we are well equipped to handle a majority of dietary restrictions. This includes but is not limited to our gluten free pastas and breads, as well as our fully reinvented vegan menu that can help to substitute the items that might otherwise be missed out on when dining at traditional Italian restaurant.

Are drinks included with the price?

As stated above, we do provide house made limoncello that is included with the dinner. If you would like to order additional items, we have a fully stocked bar that serves a wide variety of cocktails, imported Italian wines, and mocktails as well as sodas and large bottles of water. These can all be purchased at an additional cost.

What days of the week are you open?

We are open 7 days a week for our dining experience. It is by reservation as we only have one seating a night at 19:30 (7:30pm) that will last between 2-3 hours on average. The exception to this is on Friday’s when we host a double seating, one at 17:30 (5:30pm) and another at 20:30 (8:30pm)

Deposits and cancellations

Deposits are not required at the time of booking, but we reserve the right to contact you based on group size for a deposit requirement in order to confirm the booking. Additionally, if we are unable to contact you to confirm your reservation via whatsapp or e-mail, Sa’Mesa holds the right to cancel your booking.

Is there a kids menu?

We do not have a separate kids menu, but we do give a discount for children of a certain age.

* 0-6 years the children eat for free
* 7-13 years old they eat for half price,
* 14+ they are on the full price menu.

We also know that kids can be quite selective in what they eat, so if this is the case for your children, please let us know and we can try to make a few additional dishes that might be a better fit for their taste buds.

Can you accommodate large groups?

Yes!
This is a specialty of ours, so, if you’re looking at having your special event, whether it be a birthday, anniversary, or wedding party at Sa’Mesa, we can accommodate large numbers easily. If you are wanting to rent out an entire table, or the full restaurant please contact us well in advance to see availability. A full table, or the entire Sa’Mesa experience could be privately yours!

Is there parking nearby?

We have a valet at the restaurant each night. He will assist in taking your motor bikes to our parking lot that’s located about 50 meters away from the restaurant. If you come by car, they will also assist you in taking your car to designated parking spaces we have nearby as well. All you have to do is pull up to Sa’Mesa on time and the rest will be sorted for you!

Can we bring our own wine/alcohol?

Unfortunately, we do not allow guests to bring outside alcohol into Sa’Mesa. We do however have a fully stocked top of the line bar with the best selection of imported wines and spirits on the island for your choosing.

The Sa’Mesa dining experience is based on “La Nonna Carmela,” an Italian Grandmother who invites everyone for dinner. The neighbor, the neighbor’s girlfriend, three different uncles, her children, grandchildren, and basically everyone else in her village. We successfully modernized this concept and are happy to introduce our “Experience Dinner” to you.
